A 60-year-old man was, subsequently, arrested on suspicion of kidnap
A 60-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap after an attempted abduction in Heywood.
On Saturday 23 July, police received an initial report of an attempted abduction of a child at around 5.45pm on Bradshaw Street, Heywood.
An immediate investigation was launched, with CCTV from the premises being reviewed.
A 60-year-old man was subsequently, arrested on suspicion of kidnap.
A police spokesperson said: “We would like to thank members of the public for their response to this incident.”
