Fireground Museum Open Day – Fireground, Maclure Road
Open 10am - 4pm, Friday 5 and Saturday 6 August

Fire Museum attractions are on show including historic and recent day artifacts.


Gallery Exhibition: Large Expressive Works in Oil – Littleborough Coach House, Saturday 6 August, 10am – 3pm & Sunday 7 August, 11.30am – 2.30pm

This exhibition consists of David Collinge, Once Upon A Time - Large Expressive Works in Oils.


Exhibition: Harry Meadley: Free-for-all – Touchstones Rochdale, Friday 5 and Saturday 6 August, 10am – 5pm & Sunday 7 August, 10am – 4pm

Harry Meadley has turned the gallery spaces of Touchstones over to the people of Rochdale!


  • Friday 5 August

The Take That Experience – Middleton Arena, 7.30pm

Take That tribute celebrate over 30 years as the UK's number one boy band.

Milkshake! Live – Middleton Arena, 12pm and 3.30pm

Milkshake! Monkey is back and can’t wait to put on a spectacular new show for you all.


Rochdale Ramblers – Saturday Walks – Start from Syke Community Centre and Chapel, 1pm

Walk distance = 5 miles.


Green Network Forum – Falinge Park Community Hub, 12pm – 2pm

Community gardening, litter picking or other environmental projects.

Bowlee Car Boot Sale and Market – Bowlee Community Park, 6am for sellers, 7am for public - 1.30pm

Bowlee Car Boot Sale & Market - one of the biggest in Greater Manchester.


Ellenroad Engine House Open Day – Ellenroad Engine House, Steam Museum, 11am – 4pm

This month we welcome Oakenhoof & Black Nan Band.


Friends of Hare Hill Park Band Concert – Besses o’ th’ Barn Band – Hare Hill Park, 3pm – 5pm

Kick back and relax to the sound of Besses o' th' Barn brass band.


Rochdale Ramblers – Sunday Walks – Whalley wander to Sabden, 10am

Moderate circular walk, distance = 8 miles.


LABC Car Boot Sale – Whittles Park, 9am – 2pm

Littleborough Amateur Boxing Club are holding a Car Boot Sale.


Springhill’s Summer Garden Celebration – Springhill Hospice Gardens, 11am – 3pm

Annual Summer Garden Celebration.
