Whitworth Pool to close for three days due to leak

The Whitworth Leisure Centre swimming pool will be closed for a few days
The swimming pool in Whitworth will be closed for three days this week due to a ‘substantial leak’.
To determine where to leak is, the pool at the John Street Leisure Centre will be closed from 10 August to 13 August.
Local councillor Dayne Powell said: “I have been informed by Rossendale Leisure Trust that there is a substantial leak at Whitworth Pool.
“Due to the loss of water and its associated cost, it is critical that the leak is identified and hopefully rectified as soon as possible.”
