Cardinal Langley A-level results 2022

Date published: 19 August 2022

Cardinal Langley’s Sixth Form students have, yet again, excelled at A-level and vocational courses with the vast majority now moving on to their first choice of university.

Teachers were delighted to see students today (Thursday 18 August) to congratulate everyone, not simply on their academic achievements, but also for making it through an incredibly tough two years.

This year’s results are particularly impressive considering students were unable to sit GCSE exams in 2020 and so this summer’s exams were the first external assessments taken.

Mr Bridson, Headteacher, said: “On behalf of all the teachers here at Cardinal Langley, I would like to extend our congratulations to our students. They have worked tirelessly, as have staff, and we are privileged to have known each one of them. Their excellent outcomes reflect their commitment and resolve and there is no greater reward than to see our students progress on their desired pathways.

“The past two years have been extremely unsettling for students as well as teachers but the quality of work our students produce continues to amaze us and we are delighted with these exceptional results. Many students have exceeded their expectations and the vast majority of students have been successful in their university and apprenticeship applications.

“It’s a tremendous achievement, and we are very proud of every one.”
