A man suffered 'life-threatening' injuries in an attack in the toilets at Middleton Shopping Centre.
Numerous police officers swarmed the shopping centre yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 6 August) to find a man who was seriously hurt in a suspected assault.
Rochdale Online News understands that the incident being investigated is a stabbing, as per reports, though the police have not yet confirmed this.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 3.50pm yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 6 August 2024), we were called to reports of an assault at Middleton Shopping Centre. Officers found a man with serious injuries.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were described as life-threatening. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."
