Police reveal faces they wish to speak to connected to Rochdale Station disorder
Police have revealed the faces of those they wish to speak to in connection with an “outbreak of disorder” which took place outside Rochdale Police Station last month.
A protest took place outside the town centre station on Thursday 25 July, which erupted as a result of the viral ‘kicking video’ at Manchester Airport – showing a GMP officer kicking a man in the head.
Rochdale Online News understands the investigation is connected to this protest.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "We are investigating an outbreak of disorder which took place outside Rochdale police station on Thursday 25 July 2024 and are seeking to identify the following people as part of our investigation.
"If you recognise the people pictured, please get in touch with police through the MIPP portal.
"Alternatively, contact us on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting Operation Milnthorpe."
The portal can be accessed here.
