Whitworth gears up for WoW Pink Trail in October
Date published: 25 September 2024
The event aims to engage local businesses and residents in raising awareness for breast cancer
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The WoW Project is set to organise a vibrant community event, the WoW Pink Trail, taking place in Whitworth from 1 to 18 October 2024.
This event aims to engage local businesses and residents in raising awareness for breast cancer through creative and eye-catching pink-themed window displays.
Throughout the Pink Trail, participating businesses will decorate their windows with pink designs, and the public will have the chance to vote for their favourite display.
In addition to the visual celebration, hidden letters and numbers will be scattered along the trail. Participants who successfully find all the clues will form a word, which they can submit to enter a competition.
The WoW Project, a community-based organisation, encourages everyone to join in the fun and support this important cause. Entry forms are available via email at: thewowproject2018@gmail.com
