Rochdale Judo Club grading examination
Rochdale Judo Club (RJC) held a grading examination on Sunday (22 October) and 18 junior judokas graded - five pre Mon grade and 13 Mon grade.
The players have trained for months for the examination and put on a very skilful display for their coaches, examiners and parents.
Ages ranged from five-years-old to 15-years-old.

Juniors Coach Eddie Thomas (2nd Dan) said: "What an enjoyable event the grading was. Smiling young judoka faces after their examination. Smiling parents after watching some exciting judo.
"Thank you for all your support; parents, coaches and, of course, junior judoka."
Warren Schofield (7th Dan), RJC Chairman, added: "It was good to see the success the children have shown in their judo. Very rewarding.
"Our thanks to our supportive parents for their loyalty in ensuring their children attend judo on a regular basis.
"I must recognise the good work done by our coaching team who, week after week, put the judokas through their paces, constantly ensuring that all our children make progress.
"A very good successful grading."
