Manager Keith Hill wants to see Dale go far in the FA Cup

Date published: 03 November 2017

Rochdale take on non-league Bromley in the first round of the FA Cup at the Crown Oil Arena on Saturday.

Dale have made it into the fourth round of the competition for three out of the last four years and manager Keith Hill is tasking his players to go as far as they can this season.

He said: "From a fairy tale point of view and from the inner child in me who loves the FA Cup, I want to go as far down the competition as I possibly can."

He added: "I, as a manager, want to play games against opposition from higher leagues, lower leagues and from the same league."

Opponents Bromley currently sit seventh in the National League Table with eight wins, four draws and six losses from their 18 games this season to date.
