Shawclough FC U7s at Liverpool FC
After winning a tournament in Middleton earlier this year, Rochdale-based Shawclough FC U7s were invited by representatives of premiership team Liverpool FC to play at their academy against their U7s.
They played two matches against different Liverpool FC academy teams and won both.
A club spokesperson said: "A brilliant afternoon in which the lads played some exceptional football and they were even given a guard of honour after the final match by the opposition players.
"The Shawclough coaches and parents are extremely proud of the lads and their achievement."
