Dale manager Keith Hill says Tuesday's (9 January) Checkatrade Trophy Round Three game against Lincoln will be a "difficult fixture."
Hill said: “Lincoln have done brilliantly under Danny and Nicky Cowley and they are a club on the up.
“They have fallen on hard times but they have been revived by a great, learning management team. They are fresh, vibrant and have no fear, but they have a definite plan.
“In terms of us, we have just got to play one game at a time. It is a difficult fixture so we are just mindful of the opposition that we are playing against. We will pay them due respect and hopefully we will be successful.”
