Rugby League: Hornets team up with Dale for ticket offer

Date published: 18 February 2018

Rochdale Hornets have teamed up with Rochdale Football Club to offer supporters discounted entry to Hornets’ Championship opener against Dewsbury Rams on Monday.

Any adult with a Rochdale versus Tottenham Hotspur ticket stub can gain entry to the Crown Oil Arena for just £13 while concessions with a stub will pay only £10 with free entry for under 16s.

Steve Kerr, Rochdale Hornets CEO, said: “We are pleased to team up with the football club to offer this deal to fans. There are a lot of supporters of both clubs and while it can be an expensive hobby following professional sport, we feel now is the time to give something back.

“The start of the season has been a long time coming and we just want to get out on the field now and show the supporters what we can do so come along and join us for what is certain to be an entertaining night at the Crown Oil Arena.”

Russ Green, Dale Chief Executive, added: “We are delighted to have teamed up with Rochdale Hornets for this initiative and I hope Rochdale fans and people across the Borough turn out to back them when they take on Dewsbury Rams in their opening home game.

“Our relationship with Hornets has never been better and I am confident that can only get stronger as we continue moving forward together.

“We would like to once again thank everyone at Hornets for their co-operation during the pitch works. Their understanding and support means we now have a surface that both clubs be proud of.

“Good luck to Alan, his staff and players."
