Rugby League: Mayfield A in semi-final of the division one play-offs

Mayfield NWML side entertain Widnes Tigers at the Mayfield Sports Centre on Saturday, in the semi-final of the division one play offs.
Mayfield finished as league leaders, and their reward is a home fixture against fourth-placed Tigers.
Their opponents went down by two points last week in a 78-point thriller against third placed Latchford Albion, so there are no illusions that will be a foregone conclusion.
Tigers ran in 36 points against Mayfield last month their heaviest defeat of the season, so coaches Craig White and Neil Ramsden have a tough task at training trying to ensure that the team goes out in the right frame of mind with a positive attitude.
This is a winner takes all contest with the victor going through to the play-off final next week.
