Rugby Union: Littleborough U14s 0 - 55 Warrington U14s

Date published: 15 January 2019

In the latest, and penultimate, round of Lancashire cup fixtures Littleborough RUFC U14s travelled to high flying Warrington.

The boys started impressively and on the whole, they put in an excellent performance against a tough and well drilled team. However, they were unable to stop Warrington scoring at regular intervals and ended up on the wrong end of a 0-55 loss.

Whilst not being clearly apparent from the score line there were a number of positives that came from the game. The boys never gave up and played with heart and 100% commitment throughout the game, and it was good to see the recent training drills and structures being used in the game.

The clubman of the week award was presented to Ruben Warburton for his whole-hearted performance, both in attack and defence. A true all action performance and a well-deserved recipient of this week’s award.

Squad:

Charlie Bell, Bradley Chrimes, Jake Coupe, Ben Crabtree, Harry Crabtree, James Devine, Tom Fenton, James Furnell, Luke Jones, Olly Mills, Tyler Mills, Will Rawlinson, Max Risby, Ruben Warburton, Ben Williams, and Ben Williamson.
