Judo: Izzy Haigh wins silver and Daisy Parton wins bronze

Judo Jackson's Izzy Haigh and Daisy Parton both competed in the Merseyside Open judo competition on Sunday (31 March).

Daisy fought well in her first competition and she fought well and achieved her first ever medal, taking away the bronze.

Izzy had three tough fights, but she held in there and came away with a silver medal.

Jose Haigh from Judo Jackson said: “All at Judo Jackson are immensely proud of them both.”
