It was all go at the Lake on Sunday 5 May, as the Hollingworth Lake Sailing Club took part in a national campaign to offer free tasters session under the banner of Push the Boat Out.
56 people took to the water, of various ages, and several have signed up as members to take part regularly.
It was a very successful day, though the wind was light to nothing early on but brought more as the day went on.
There was also the usual club racing for visitors to watch.
Over the weekend, the national junior championships were held at Rutland Water.
The club was represented by 14-year-old Daisy Fisher in a Topper who finished 38th out of 86 entrants, and was the 6th best female sailor.
