Date published: 20 May 2019

Norden Cricket Club made it three wins on the bounce when beating Todmorden at Centre Vale on Saturday (18 May).

Stags slipped to 50 for four, with Josh Tolley, Saif Bhojani, Dominic Humphreys, and Harvey Fitton gone, but Jake Sandham and Greg Butterworth then added 130.

Sandham was finally bowled by Collins after a 98-ball innings which included 10 fours and three sixes.

Butterworth fell for 61 to make it 192 for six before Hashum Malik smacked 33 off 20 deliveries to take Norden up to 240 for eight. Joe Humphreys was 11 not out.

The reply subsided to 13 for four, Sandham and Chris Humphreys sharing the wickets.

There was something of a recovery led by Chris Schofield who hit 53, but Todmorden were all out for 137.

The sons of Chris Humphreys, Dominic and Joe, matched dad, each taking two wickets.
