Middleton Colts presentation evening

Date published: 05 June 2019

Middleton Colts held an end of season presentation evening on Saturday 25 May at Middleton Arena to celebrate the great successes the academy has achieved over the past season and presented awards to squads, managers, players, supports, most improved and the goalkeepers trophy.

Middleton Rotary President, Kit Wellens, attended the presentation evening and was invited on stage as Middleton Rotary Club had sponsored shirts and awards this season.

The evening was a great success with all the children looking so smart in their shirts and ties.

A raffle for a Manchester United shirt was also held and raised over £900.

Kit Wellens said: “It’s clear that this evening was a night both the children and their families had been looking forward to.

“I was extremely proud to be part of it, and proud that our club has, and continues to support Colts as they strive for success.

“It was amazing to see so many children loving life and just as many proud parents too.

“I must also mention the hard work of Johnny Munson, Colts academy director, who gives his all to the club, and the many managers, coaches and volunteers who do their best to make every player feel special.”

Paul Hindley, chairman of Middleton Colts said: “Well done to all everyone involved it’s been amazing season with some boys playing a year up. All age groups have progressed massively this season, well done to all involved.

“Thanks to Your Sport Photography for capturing the evening for us so we could create memories like this and huge thank you to Trophy World for the fantastic trophies.”
