Cricket: Norden fall short against Todmorden

Norden fell five runs short when they went down to Todmorden at Stag Park on Saturday 3 August.

Todmorden’s innings was given a great start by Bilal Abbas who scored 31 and Alankara Silva who scored 49. The runs continued to flow with Freddie Priestley hitting 42 and Chris Schofield 75 not out.

Several Norden players made good starts with Jake Sandham leading the way with 87, but he was ninth out and Stags ended on 218 for nine.
