Cricket: Middleton sign new professional for 2020

Middleton Cricket Club have signed a new professional player for the 2020 season.
27-year-old James Price (South Africa) is a specialist batsman who has topped the batting averages in the Lancashire League this season.
Middleton captain Dale Highton said: “It promises to be a great signing - expect to see some exciting and explosive batting in 2020 from James.”
Club Secretary Elaine Roydes urged the people of Middleton to get behind the team she said: “Get a front row seat and cheer on the lads, become a club member and bring the children along.
“Enjoy watching a young Middleton side full of local talent, push for silverware in a relaxed, family friendly environment.”
