Karate: Mariam Buta achieves black belt

Mariam Buta
12-year-old Mariam Buta has been awarded her black belt (1st Dan) after an excellent performance at The DOJO Karate Centre on Castlemere Street.
Her examiner, Sensei Irfan Ansari (7th Dan), said: “Mariam has shown high dedication is achieving this standard.
“All the members and instructors congratulate her on this massive achievement.”
