Rugby League: Hornets rearranged Challenge Cup fixture confirmed

A revised date for the outstanding Coral Challenge Cup third round between Rochdale Hornets and York Acorn has been announced for Sunday 16 February.

The tie was postponed last Sunday due to Storm Ciara, and will now take place at to Salford’s AJ Bell Stadium as the Crown Oil Arena pitch remains unplayable.

The game will kick off at 3pm and the winners will entertain the British Army in the fourth round.

Fourth round games will be played on the weekend on 22/23 February. The draw for round five will be held on Monday 24 February.   

As a result of the third-round postponements, four of this weekend’s five scheduled Betfred League 1 fixtures will be rearranged including Coventry v Rochdale Hornets.
