Engaging Safety sign up to sponsor Wardle Juniors' first aid kits

Date published: 29 September 2020

Rochdale based health and safety consulting and training company, Engaging Safety Ltd has agreed to sponsor Wardle Juniors Football Club’s team first aid kits for the coming 2020/21 season.

Engaging Safety’s managing director Bev Wrigley said: “We have been involved with the club for a number of years now having previously sponsored several ‘Man of the Match’ trophies. When I discovered that the club was fundraising to enable the purchase of first aid kits for each team, I immediately thought that the least these young players deserve is to be able to be looked after properly when and if they take a knock during play and of course, being in the ‘safety business’, it seemed quite appropriate for us to help out.”

Based at Rutherford Park, Wardle Juniors Football Club provide coaching for younger children (ages 4-6) and competitive play in a number of age groups from under 7s upwards. The club is always keen to take on new players and aims to increase the number of children participating every season.

Engaging Safety is a family-owned business which provides health and safety training, CDM 2015 and risk management support. Founded in 2015 by Bev Wrigley, Engaging Safety offers businesses guidance on what is needed in relation to health and safety and if required, assist them in achieving compliance and assist with transfer from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001.
