Lynn Butterworth
Conservative Party
Littleborough Lakeside Ward
I am pleased to have been selected to stand for the Conservatives in the forthcoming local elections.
I have lived in Littleborough all my life and attended 2 local schools. When my two daughters started school I trained as a nurse at Birch Hill Hospital, where I worked for 13 years. I then trained as a Community Health Visitor, and in total served in the NHS for 33 years; which I am very proud of.
Since retirement I have been an active member of Littleborough and District Lions club. With their backing I opened a support group for carers and people living with Dementia. I support LEAF, Littleborough Events Association Forum, as a first aider for events such as the Rushbearing Festival, the local Food Festival, Christmas Lights switch on, etc. I am also currently Chair of Rochdale and Bury Homestart charity.
I am committed to working hard for the people of Littleborough; to retain the character of the village. I will fight to protect the Greenbelt and against the Clean Air Zone. I will Lobby to improve road safety and freeze Council Tax.
We all have 3 votes on the 5th of May, please consider voting for the three Conservative candidates in Littleborough Lakeside ward.
Thank You.
Lynn Butterworth.
Standing with:
Daniel Nuttall.
Peter Reed.
