Hello Residents, I’ve lived in the area for over 30 years. I have a young family and I’m proud to be bringing them up in Littleborough and Wardle. I own and run a successful car body repair workshop in central Littleborough. I’ve been in business for over 8 years. Through my work, I’m currently saving and restoring some rare and historic Rochdale built and produced classic cars. I’ve always made a point of supporting local businesses and trades people. I’m a firm believer in keeping things local where possible.
I’m passionate about saving the green belt and making better use of our brownfield sites. Ensuring the next generation and our children have a future in Littleborough Lakeside. Any future developments within the area must be right for the community, done with sensitivity and in keeping with our beautiful village.
As a classic car enthusiast I’m an active campaigner for better road safety. I’ve recently played a successful role in lobbying against the clean air zone (CAZ) charges, which will now be postponed and reconsidered. Greater Manchester will not be accepting any CAZ charges. The scheme will be reconsidered in 2026 and will work alongside residents to reduce emissions rather than a daily charge.
I’m delighted to have been selected to stand as a Labour candidate in Littleborough Lakeside following Cllr John Hartley after his 10 years of dedicated service to Littleborough. I promise to be a hard working strong voice for the community, to always listen and support residents.
Together the Littleborough Labour team will work hard with residents to secure a great future for Littleborough Lakeside and our next generation.
