We are writing to you together as your Conservative Candidates at the forthcoming Local All-out Elections because it’s our team we are asking you to elect this year.
This year is different because you will be selecting three new Councillors to represent you on Rochdale Council. So, when you vote this year, it’s as important as ever that you use all three of your available votes on the ballot paper.
For first time in over twenty years, you will have a real opportunity to vote for change in West Heywood ward and elect Councillors who will be your voice at the Town Hall, not the Council`s voice in the community.
We firmly believe in the positive difference good Councillors can make locally and by voting for a strong Conservative team, you really can bring about the change needed in our area.
Local Conservatives are the main opposition to the Labour led Council. A vote for any other party in May will not bring about the positive change needed at the Town Hall.
A Conservative Controlled Council will always look at ways to freeze your Council Tax bill, protect your Greenbelt and oppose the CAZ charges. We will invest in our roads and pavements, develop our town centres, and open the Council decision making process so that it is more accountable to residents and their views.
So, when you vote this year, we are asking you to place your trust in us and vote three times for your local Conservative team.
