North Middleton Ward
I am married with four children and have a background in finance, management and computers. I have recently moved from Middleton West to Middleton North and found, from the people I have spoken to, that no-one knows who their elected representative is. It turns out that this ward elects Labour Councillors with one of the lowest turnouts in the country. The people of north Middleton deserve better.
I passionately believe in communities and that’s why I am a Liberal Democrat. I want more decisions for Middleton taken by Middleton – because that way decisions are usually better and always more accountable. If elected I will fight proposals by the Labour Council to reduce the money given to Middleton.
