During the past eight years I have been delighted to represent and serve all the residents of Milkstone & Deeplish, and with your support, I hope to continue serving YOU to the very best of my ability. It has been a real privilege to have assisted so many local people during the past few years, and I guarantee, that if re-elected, I will again do my utmost to achieve results for YOU.
As your Councillor, I gained the funding for the facelift of houses in Milkstone and Deeplish. The Housing Improvement Projects, have been a great success, which Labour voted against.
On my instigation, many one-way streets have been introduced. These have reduced traffic congestion considerably.
I was successful in getting many traffic calming measures installed. I believe these are a great way of preventing accidents.
With the help of fellow Conservative Councillors, we have been able to keep Community Centres open. It remains Conservative policy to keep Community Centres open.
I would like to express my gratitude to all those local residents who have thanked me for my help in getting their roads re-surfaced and pavements repaired
I was particularly pleased to have secured the funding for the Kick Pitch at Stoneyfield.
As a local man, my priorities are YOUR priorities. I always put Milkstone & Deeplish first.
There is so much more I would like to do to improve OUR area, and with your support, that is precisely what I intend to do.
