Experience matters

Pat Colclough has been active in Rochdale politics for over 25 years and is an experienced former Rochdale Councillor for the Liberal Democrats. She was born in Cutgate and her parents worked at the Norden Tannery in the 1940s & 50s. Pat has worked all her life in household textiles and finished her career as the manager of a bedding company in Kingsway.

Pat spent two years as Rochdale’s representative on the Greater Manchester Police Authority and has served on the Fostering Panel, Rochdale Township, Safer Communities and Overview & Scrutiny Committees. She is also a governor at Kingsway Park high School and helped oversee the merger between Balderstone and Springhill High schools.

Pat promises to hit the ground running if elected as Councillor for Norden on the 25th April.

"I am ready to work full time for the people of Norden and will use my previous knowledge and experience as an elected member right from day one. I have always preferred to work in the ward I represent rather than the corridors of power, and have an extensive track record of case work to prove it."

Pat Colclough, Liberal Democrat Candidate for Norden.
