Thank you for taking the time to read my pitch.
I am 22 years old and am currently a company director at an emergent educational technology company based in Chester called Zizza Ltd, I am also a professional Lacrosse coach at Rochdale Lacrosse Club and have recently coached at Siddal Moor High School and Hopwood Hall Primary School.
I was educated at All Souls CofE Primary School, Matthew Moss High School, Holy Cross College in Bury and the University of Lincoln.
I am a Friend of Springfield Park and was involved in protecting a large area of the Park from being built upon.
I have seen at first hand the power of a community working together to achieve vital changes in the local environment and in the relationships between council officers and local people and I can assure you that if you were to vote for me I would put my enthusiasm and insight to good effect in the Hopwood Hall Ward on your behalf.
My goals include:
- Improving the town both aesthetically and economically
- Developing greater sport participation across the Borough
- Creating a positive environment for jobs, business and entrepreneurship
- Enhancing the standards of education and employability of students and young people
- Encouraging local public institutions to be more accessible to the public
I hope to set an example for young people and will work with local groups, schools and other organisations to help create opportunities for young people to become more active and productive in society, to engender a sense of pride and heritage and to develop the abilities of young people to create their own work opportunities.
