Making it Happen
The Gardening Club in Denehurst Park was started in 2014 to help improve the park on a practicle level, improving the park one step at a time, making the park our own and creating a park for everyone to enjoy. So far the volunteers, with help from Rochdale Council, have helped re shape the park cutting back the overgrown laurels, managing the holly trees, planting trees, creating two orchards, planting the srumping lane and completely restoring the formal garden.
When is it?
The Gardening Club is help every Wednesday during the spring and summer months.
Weather permitting we meet in front of Denehurst House on Wednesdays 10.00 - 12.00.
Equipment will be provided.
