What is in Denehurst Park?

Denehurst Park has recently been restored transforming it from a neglected open space into a park for all. From April 2016 to Arpil 2019 Denehurst underwent unprecedented development, existing features were imporved and new features were created.

There are currently a number of different features and facilities on offer in Denehurst Park such as the new and improved inclusive pirate themed play area, recently restored formal garden, two fruit orchards, scrumping lane, victorian style stumpery, Troll bridges and the wildflower meadow.

There is also the Ollie the Owl and Herbie the Hedgehog to look out for !!!

Further plans to redevelop Denehurst House are currently underway which will see the inclusion of a park cafe with a changing places toilet facility.

Parking is available at the main entrance to the park, including disabled parking. The main entrance is located off Edenfield Road, Rochdale, OL11 5AU. Look out for the Green Flag Awards flag flying high.
