Rochdale Society of Model and Experimental Engineers (RSMEE)

Intro

Rochdale Society of Model & Experimental Engineers (RSMEE), founded in 1932, is one of the oldest societies in the country and is also a founder member of the Northern Association of Model Engineers. It is based at Springfield Park, (A58) Bolton Road, Rochdale, OL11 4RE.

The track will accommodate 3.5, 5 and 7.25 inch gauge model locomotives - live steam, battery electric and petrol locomotives. It is open for running every Sunday afternoon (weather permitting), between April and October for visiting drivers, passengers and onlookers to enjoy.

Members come from many different walks of life and are of varying levels of skill and experience - and all are still learning!

Twice-monthly meetings covering a variety of subjects are also held on Friday Evenings throughout the year.

NEW MEMBERS are always welcome to our meetings and track days, so please come along and try a new hobby. Give it a try and you could well become an RSMEE member.
