Samaritans

Intro

For those in crisis or depression, who feel isolated even suicidal, our mission is to listen without criticism or being judgmental, and to encourage callers to explore their feelings. We are available 24 hours each day 365 days each year to offer confidential support:

Over 6400 people die by suicide each year in the UK and Eire - That's one every 82 minutes; of these more than 2 per day are young people.

Ring or call in person to the branch.

"Whatever you are going through, we will go through it with you"

Could you become a Samaritan?

Are you caring and unbiased, able to listen to callers in distress or crisis, can you set aside a few hours per hours to help others.
If so please contact us for details of our regular information evenings.

Samaritans are a self funding charity so if you would like to make a donation please send a chq made payable to Samaritans Rochdale & Oldham branch.
