ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – Monday 5th February 2018
at 7.30pm in the Unitarian Church.
If you have any business relevant to this meeting, including nominations for officers or amendments to the Constitution, please send them in writing to the Hon. Sec. before the Committee meeting on 10th January 2018.
Any Other Business at this Annual Meeting will include discussion of the future of the Association in relation to the financial situation and dwindling membership numbers.
VISIT OF OUR FRIENDS FROM BIELEFELD SEPTEMBER 2018
This will take place at the beginning of September and, at the moment, we have offers of 15 beds for them. Possible trips to a show/concert in Manchester or a visit to the BBC studios at Media City, and a visit to the Maritime Museum in Liverpool with the displays of Titanic material and the Slavery museum, are being explored by the Committee.
FUNDRAISING
We need at least £3,000 to cover visits, coaches and meals during the time that our friends are here. A Quiz is being arranged on 22nd March in the Unitarian Church at 7.30pm. Please begin to invite your friends. There will be a pie supper provided by new caterers. We need at least 30 people to come in order to raise any profit for our funds
