Tree of Knowledge?

The fruits of the tree of knowledge was provided by the Castleton Carnegie Library to thousands of children and adults who lived in and around Castleton. Now unfortunately nature has decided that a different tree advertises what is happening to the building. In the words of one of our group Kenneth Hall who took the photograph:- “As you can see the local wild life is taking over. A tree growing out of the chimney. As I was taking pictures I did see a couple of pigeons flying behind the chimney, but they would not stay long enough to pose for a photo. At least nature is making use of the building. Though more worrying the roots of the young tree will grow into the fabric of the building and help to cause further cracks. Letting the elements of the weather in and causing further damage to the fabric of the building.” Please help us to save the building by joining and donating to our quest.
