Lounge and Bar
In keeping with the Lancashire theme the lounge and bar hosts traditional pub entertainment.
Bingo is a popular family attraction on alternative Sunday afternoons with alternative quiz night and play your cards right on Sunday evenings.
The lounge is equipped with 2 television screens and all televised sporting tastes can be catered for in a controlled way, sometimes 2 different events with the sound muted. In this way members enjoy Football, cricket, Rugby, both codes, Athletics etc, on request, with the added choice of viewing special events in the Television Room.
Beers, Spirits and Wines
The bar serves a range of beers supplied from a brewery in Blackburn including a guest ‘real ale’ cask bitter. The usual range of mild and bitter beers are ‘on tap’ alongside Lagers, cider and Guinness.
An extensive range of European bottled beers are popular and the range of 1 for 1 bottled wine, with a mulled wine during November and December, includes white and red wine varieties and a rose’ wine. Also a Barley Wine winter ale, served all the year round.
Spirits and mixer drinks are complemented by a ‘doubles’ bar and soft drinks and children’s drinks round up the extensive variety of beverages on offer.
