The Great Rochd’ale’ Winter Ale Trail – Rochdale Town Centre, Friday 17, Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 November

Five days featuring over 100 ales & ciders.


Alkrington Village Craft Market – Alkrington Community Centre, Saturday 18 & Sunday 19 November, 11am – 4pm

Harry Potter special themed craft fair weekend.


Visit Fireground Museum – Fireground, Maclure Road, open 10am - 4pm, Friday 17 & Saturday 18 November

Fire Museum attractions are on show including historic and recent day artifacts.


Gallery Exhibitions: Mixed Media – Littleborough Coach House, Friday 17 & Saturday 18 November, 10am – 3pm

Edith Tunstall and Victoria Ash – Mixed Media.


  • Friday 17 November

Smallbridge Digital Skills Workshop – Stevenson Square, 11am – 12pm

Join RBH in Smallbridge for a free digital skills workshop to learn about email, apps, websites, social media and more.


Active Living Social – Middleton Arena, 2pm – 4pm

Fun filled afternoons of music and dance taking you through the decades.


Friday Music Night with The Earthquakers – Rochdale Unitarian Church, 7.30pm

The band combines the soul and grit of English traditional music with country and blues.


Ace Lips Events: Christmas Comedy Special – The Old Court Room, 8.30pm

Another fantastic line up sees some of the very best on the circuit here.

  • Saturday 18 November

Rochdale Ramblers – Saturday Walks – Exploring the Todmorden Moor Geology Trail, 10am

Walk distance = 8 miles.


Meet the First Responders at Fire Museum – Fireground, 10am – 4pm

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, Greater Manchester Police and National Highways will be showing a range of first response vehicles and exhibiting modern crash-rescue techniques in live demonstrations during the day.


Rochdale Supporters Trust AGM – The Dale Bar, Crown Oil Arena, 11am

Attendance at the meeting is restricted to current Trust members only.


Middleton Christmas Lights Switch On – Middleton Town Centre, 2pm – 7pm

Includes live performances from local groups, plus special guests including Father Christmas.


Rochdale AFC v Aldershot Town – Crown Oil Arena, 3pm kick off

Vanarama National League Match.


Cantare in concert with the Northern Baroque Orchestra – Church of St Aidan, 3pm – 5pm

Cantare welcome you to their first collaborative concert with the Northern Baroque Orchestra, featuring Vivaldi’s Gloria in D Major.


Heywood Christmas Lights Switch On – Heywood Town Centre, 3pm – 5.30pm

The lights will be switched on by the Mayor of Rochdale at 5pm.

Fire Memorabilia Sale – Fireground, 10am – 4pm

Stallholders from all parts of the country offering antique fire equipment, uniforms, medals and collectibles to delight any enthusiast.
