Jack and the Beanstalk – Middleton Arena, Friday 1 – Sunday 3 December

This Christmas, you’re invited to a pantomime full of Fe, Fi, Fo & Fun! Jack & The Beanstalk at Middleton Arena.


Christmas Markets – The Woodlands Café at Hollingworth Lake, Friday 1 & Saturday 2 December, 6pm – 9pm

Music, stalls, food and tombolas.


Visit Fireground Museum – Fireground, Maclure Road, open 10am - 4pm, Friday 1 & Saturday 2 December

Fire Museum attractions are on show including historic and recent day artifacts.


Gallery Exhibitions: Mixed Media – Littleborough Coach House, Saturday 2 December, 10am – 3pm

Wardle Art Group – Mixed Media.


  • Friday 1 December

Smallbridge Digital Skills Workshop – Stevenson Square, 11am – 12pm

Join RBH in Smallbridge for a free digital skills workshop to learn about email, apps, websites, social media and more.


The Friday Lunch Club – Rochdale Masonic Hall, 12pm – 2pm

Held on the first Friday of the month.


Active Living Social - Rochdale Leisure Centre, 2pm – 4pm

Fun filled afternoons of music and dance taking you through the decades.


Lima Sierra – The Dyers Arms, 9pm

Traditional beers, cold lagers and a very warm welcome to all.

  • Saturday 2 December

Rochdale Ramblers – Saturday Walks – Clowbridge Reservoir to the Singing Ringing Tree, 10am

Walk distance = 10 miles.


Christmas Open Day – Fireground, 10am – 1pm

There will be fair rides, stalls, fire engines and a café.


Christmas Fayre & Art Exhibition – St Ann Church, 10am – 4pm

A range of craft stalls, art, woodcrafts and tombola.


Monkey Bricks – St Anne’s Academy, 10am – 5pm

LEGO displays and stalls and Christmas craft fair.


Christmas Fayre – Rochdale Parish Church of St. Chad, 11am – 2pm

A variety of festive stalls.


Christmas Friendsgiving – Hopwood Hall Estate, 11am – 12.30pm or 1.30pm – 3pm

A thank you to Hopwood Hall’s friends, volunteers and supporters.


GEM Appeal Charity Festive Afternoon Tea – Mercure Norton Grange Hotel, 1.30pm

Festive afternoon tea, entertainment, raffle and a visit from Santa.


Wrenbury Drive Christmas Lights Switch On – The Spring Inn, 2pm – 6pm

Enjoy a sing-a-long with Milnrow Brass Band.


Norden Christmas Lights Switch On & Festive Market – Norden Village, from 5pm

The Christmas lights switch on will be at 7pm by Santa and a mystery guest.


The Authentic Garth Brooks Experience – The Dyers Arms, 9pm

Country music godfather tribute band.


Grotto Opening Day – Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre

Get in the festive spirit and meet the mascots at the shopping centre.

  • Sunday 3 December

We’re all going to Bethlehem – The Salvation Army Hall, 10.30am

A family worship with The Salvation Army.


Christmas Craft Fair – Star Tree Studio, 11am – 3pm

Unique hand-made gifts are being sold plus an appearance by Father Christmas.


Ellenroad Engine House Open Day – Ellenroad Engine House, Steam Museum, 11am – 4pm

This month they welcome Christmas Fair & live music by The Moonshiners.


Acoustic Jukebox – The Dyers Arms, 6pm

Traditional beers, cold lagers and a very warm welcome to all.
