Lots to do in and around the borough this weekend: Rochdale AFC v Dagenham and Redbridge, Circus Spectacular, Accountability now – protest, Ellenroad Engine House Open Day, Rochdale Hornets v Halifax Panthers, Volunteer Drop-in, Visit Fireground Museum, Rochdale Ramblers – Saturday & Sunday Walks

  • Friday 2 February

Volunteer Drop-in – Number One Riverside, 9am – 12pm

Action Together have a new fortnightly drop-in volunteer hub.

  • Saturday 3 February

Rochdale Ramblers – Saturday Walks – Scenic Saddleworth, 1pm

Walk distance = 5.5 miles.


Accountability now - protest – Number One Riverside, 1pm

Speakers will be William Howarth – PAG UK and Nick Buckley, along with many other child abuse campaigners and survivors.


Circus Spectacular – Middleton Arena, 3pm

Featuring international circus acts, amazing magic and lots of laughs.


Rochdale AFC v Dagenham and Redbridge – Crown Oil Arena, 3pm kick off

Vanarama National League match.

  • Sunday 4 February

Rochdale Ramblers – Sunday Walks – Milnrow Circular, 10am

Walk distance = 10 miles.


Ellenroad Engine House Open Day – Ellenroad Engine House, Steam Museum, 11am – 4pm

This month they welcome The Britannia Coconut Dancers.


Rochdale Hornets v Halifax Panthers – Crown Oil Arena, 3pm kick off

1885 Cup, AB Sundecks 1895 Cup - Group 4.
