  • Events happening all weekend

Play – The Curtain Theatre, Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 February

Prepare to be transported through the mind of playwright Brian Simpson who takes us on a hilarious journey with an unsuspecting and surprising cast.


Visit Fireground Museum – Fireground, Maclure Road, open 10am - 4pm, Friday 9 & Saturday 10 February

Fire Museum attractions are on show including historic and recent day artifacts.


Gallery Exhibitions: Vanessa Hill – Littleborough Coach House, Friday 9 & Sunday 10 February, 10am – 3pm

Exhibitions are generally mounted in the Heritage Room and Victoria Room gallery spaces and each lasts for approximately one month.


  • Friday 9 February

Poetry by the Canal – Hare Hill House, 10am – 12pm

The Canal Laureate, Roy McFarlane FRSL will speak and poems will be read.


Castleton Literary and Scientific Society – Castleton Community Centre, 7pm

‘China – some roads less travelled’ a talk by Adrian Cornforth.


Live music from Jake Owens Duo – The Treehouse Bar, 7pm

As part of The Treehouse Bar’s Friday treehouse session, Jake Owens Duo will be performing.


Comedy Night - Rochdale Sports Club, 7.30pm

Comedy night with three fantastic acts and compere.

Rochdale Ramblers – Saturday Walks – Up to Blackstone Edge, 10am

Walk distance = 10 miles.


Heywood Model Railway Group Open Day – Unit 4 Park Works, 10am – 4pm

Monthly open day.


Valentine’s Pop Up Market – Rochdale Riverside, 10am – 4pm

Wedding Open Day – The Rhyddings Suite, 2pm – 5pm

See the Rhyddings Suite set up for a wedding and discuss your wedding plans.


Walk Like a Man – Middleton Arena, 7.30pm

Walk Like a Man brings the Four Season’s incredible journey to life.
