Community Events on Falinge Park Coming 2024
As always we love to hear from You!! Please come along and share your ideas and thoughts about what you would like to do in Falinge Park!
Great British Spring Clean Sunday 24th March 10.30 am - 12
Join Vintage Worx green volunteers as they help clear up Falinge park and the surrounding neighbourhood for the Great British Spring Clean!
We will meet on the park for 10.30 and set off into the neighbouring streets for a litterpick.
All equipment will be provided (but if you have your own gloves please bring them along!)
This is a great chance to pop along and meet our regular green volunteers, see what is going on in your local park and do something great for the community!
EasterTreasure Hunt - Saturday 30th March 11am- 2pm
Come and Join our Easter Hunt on Falinge Park
Family friendly activities include: Lucky Shot Games, Making Easter Crowns and Seedbomb making.
There will be Hot Dog BBQ and pancakes for sale
To join the Hunt is £4 per pack
other activities have various costs
Falinge Park Plant Festival - sunday 19th May 11am - 3pm
Come along and buy some plants, find out about our green activities.
Bring along any excess plants from your own growing and contribute to the ongoing restoration of our community park!

- Paint Garden Pots
- Build a Bee Hive or a Bug Hotel
- Go on a Bug Hunt
- Create your own Critters
Volunteer Celebration & Open Day Sunday 2nd June 10am – 1.00pm
We have some amazing volunteer opportunities at Falinge Park this year.
Come down to our volunteer celebration day, enjoy the free buffet and find out more about us!
We need motivated, enthusiastic, proactive people with a good sense of humour and a willingness to try anything once to help with our ongoing development of the park. We are looking for Gardeners, workshop facilitators, marketing support, leaflet distributers and event volunteers.

Sunday 21st July Vintage Car Show in Partnership with Rochdale Rotary Club

Due to the popularity of our Halloween event we have split it over 2 weekends this year!
Saturday 26th October Halloween Ghost Walk! 6pm - 9.00pm
Our terryfying ghost walk will take you through the darkest regions of the park where spooks, demons and witches seek to scare the soul right out of you in our halloween scarefest!
TBC Halloween Monster Hunt 11am - 3pm
Our Monster hunt is toddler tailored and suitable for kids under 7, families will hunt around the park for our hidden monsters, collecting clues.
Tombola, Carnival games and entertainment will run throughout the event.
Hot food and refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the event.
