Residents of Rochdale are being urged to support Greater Manchester Police by sharing their CCTV footage to help officers solve crimes more efficiently.
GMP has highlighted the importance of providing CCTV evidence, which can be submitted quickly and easily through the force’s Axon portal. By uploading footage via a simple link, residents can assist the police in gathering crucial evidence, with the process taking no longer than five minutes.
A Bee in the Loop email stated: “It is as easy as clicking a link via our Axon portal and uploading your video for us to download. It takes no longer than five minutes and saves us hours, so we can be dealing with your other issues.”
Police are encouraging all residents to participate, emphasising that CCTV plays a vital role in solving crimes and ensuring offenders are brought to justice.
“We encourage everyone to help us out with CCTV as it helps us solve crimes and bring offenders to justice,” the spokesperson said.
