Finance Assistant - 12 month contract

My Client is currently looking to appoint a dynamic and professional candidate to join their Finance Transactions Team on a 12 month contract to cover a period of Maternity leave

The main purpose of the job is to assist with high volume Reconciliations of various Accounts that the team are responsible for. You will investigate Invoice differences and manage any issues related to the Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Key duties & Responsibilities;

  • High volume Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
  • Investigation of any Variances with the Balance Sheet - reporting any discrepancies
  • Provide monthly reporting on updates / progress on aged issues
  • Complete weekly Journal adjustments to highlight any Profit or Losses
  • Liaise with key contacts within the Finance team and attend monthly Balance Sheet Review meetings
  • Any ad hoc assistance across any other Finance functions as required including Purchase Ledger

This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern and dynamic business and gain some invaluable experience in a fast paced Finance team

Working hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and onsite parking is available
