Accountant

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Accountant in the Rochdale area, this opportunity is within a well-established Accountancy with a bright future. You will be responsible for multiple clients from various backgrounds and will be experienced in working within a busy and fast environment.

Role and responsibilities as an Accountant

• Preparation of Year end accounts for various clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Management accounting
• Year-end bookkeeping
• Tax Computations, including self-assessment and corporation tax
• Liaising with clients on issues and discrepancies whilst also liaising with HMRC

Skills and experience required

• Experienced Accountant with 3+ years’ working within a practice environment
• AAT level 4 or equivalent
• Good knowledge/experience with SAGE, IRIS and Excel
• Experience of managing multiple clients at one time
