Customer Service Manager

Mon – Friday (40 hour working week)

Permanent position

Salary, £30,000pa - £35,000pa (Dependant on experience)

We have an exciting new opportunity as a Customer Service Manager located in the Rochdale area for a well-established supplier with customers worldwide. As a Customer Service Manager you are responsible for leading a small Customer Service team, ensuring that as a team that the level of Customer Service is maintained at high standard at all times. Whilst leading and supporting the team, developing and training to ensure the business needs are met.

Role and responsibilities of a Customer Service Manager

• Coach and motivate the team to ensure that the standards of Customer Service remain high at all times
• Develop and train team members with the ability to provide hands on support also
• Carrying out outbound calls to existing customers to ensure that they are advised on upcoming orders, whilst advised on future orders and upselling and cross selling when required
• Continuously identify areas of improvement with the department and implement positive changes when required
• Liaising with other departments within the business to ensure that clients and customers are kept updated with orders
• Updating all customer and client accounts when required
• Liaising with suppliers worldwide

Skills and experiences of a Customer Service Manager

• Previous hands on Management experience within a Customer Service environment
• Experience of working within the a supplier environment
• 4 years+ Customer service experience
• Ability to prioritise and plan workload
• Attention to detail for accurate data analysis and auditing
• Self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to create good working relationships
