Payroll Bureau Administrator

Salary: £13 - £16 per hour

Location: Littleborough, Rochdale.
Hours: 20-30

An established accountancy practice based in Littleborough, looking to appoint a part time (flexible hours available – minimum 20 hours per week) payroll bureau administrator where Sage payroll experience is essential.

This is a standalone role that will involve:

  • Weekly/monthly payroll processing and RTI submissions.
  • Processing/uploading Auto-Enrolment pension payments.
  • Setting up of Auto-Enrolment pension schemes.
  • Monthly CIS returns.
  • Annual P11D submissions and related administrative duties.

The successful applicant will need to be:

  • Proficient in Payroll.
  • RTI and Auto Enrolment processing understanding of CIS industry filing requirements.
  • Extremely competent using Sage 50 Payroll software.
  • Able to understand and complete P11ds.
  • Confident in all programmes within Microsoft Office.
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Able to liaise with colleagues and clients to satisfy their requirements.
  • Capable of using their own initiative.
  • Have an ability to multi-task.
  • Maintain an understanding of changes in relevant legislation, such as minimum wage, pensions, National Insurance categories, statutory payments and filing requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience of processing multiple payrolls as part of a payroll bureau/accountancy practice.

Salary negotiable dependent upon experience.
