Win two tickets to new monthly comedy night in Rochdale

The Old Court Room at the Flying Horse Hotel is the venue for a new monthly comedy night in Rochdale town centre and we have two tickets to give away to the show on Friday 30 September to one of our readers.

Organiser Ace Lips Events has been running comedy nights for almost 10 years across Rochdale, Littleborough and Oldham, moving from venue to venue.

Its founder, Rick Attwood, decided to set up a regular comedy night in the town centre so that people “shouldn’t have to go into Manchester to watch some of the best comedy talent on the circuit when it can be seen in Rochdale.” The first event took place in May this year.

The event on 30 September will have five comics and an MC, including headliner Jamie MacDonald who has his own BBC Radio 4 series, Life On The Blink, his BBC Sounds comedy special, Blind-sided, and BBC Two’s Blind Ambition which he co-presents. 

The MC on the night will be Katie Tracey, with Jenny Hart, Kieran Lawless, Tom Douglas and Don Hatton-Woods also performing.
