Details:

Pop on your shades, bring your brolly and be blown away by Whatever the Weather, M6 Theatre Company’s award-winning show for young children and families. The performance will take place at M6 Studio Theatre in Rochdale on Saturday 12 May, before the team head out on a prestigious national tour.

Winner of the Best Production for Children and Young People (0-7) at the Off West End Theatre Awards 2016, Whatever the Weather is an inventive, comical and highly visual show set in the world of a traditional Alpine weather house. The little lady comes out when it’s going to be sunny. The little man comes out when it’s going to rain. Never together, always alone. But what happens when one magical day…they come alive?

Whatever the Weather has been produced in association with Polka Theatre in London and created and directed by Gilly Baskeyfield (Artistic Director). The show features a funny and quirky music score by Jon Nicholls (Composer), and an intricate set full of surprises created by Joss Matzen (Designer and Production Director).

Each child attending the performance will receive a FREE illustrated storybook based on the show.

M6 Theatre Company, founded in 1977, is acknowledged as one of Britain’s leading touring theatre companies specialising in creating and delivering high quality theatre for young audiences.

Whatever the Weather is suitable for family audiences ages 3+. Tickets cost £3 and are available from M6 Theatre by calling 01706 355898.
