Join us for a royal wedding themed Summer Fair with an FA Cup twist!

Each pupil at Holy Trinity C of E Primary School, Littleborough, has been busy designing triangles of bunting that will be joined together to festoon the many stalls and activities at their Royal Wedding themed Summer Fair.

Fair goers are invited to celebrate Harry and Meghan’s big day in style by enjoying Pimm’s, prosecco and a selection of cakes, while watching a live screening of the wedding in a special dedicated viewing room, which will open at 11.30am.

Alongside the usual fun games and tombolas, there will be a bouncy castle, a guess the weight of the wedding cake competition, craft activities such as crown making and a special performance by the school choir.

The fair will also be catering for footie fans excited to commemorate the FA Cup with a Beat the Goalie competition and a host of football themed makes and prizes.

Kate Brown, chair of Friends of Holy Trinity PTA, says: “Our fair coincides with two huge events this year, so we’ve decided to embrace them.  It promises to be a great event and we very much hope that parents and the people of Littleborough will come down to support us and help raise money towards the completion of the new school library.”

A raffle, supported by several local businesses including The Star Tree Studio, will also be held.

The fair takes place 12noon until 2.00pm on Saturday 19 May at Holy Trinity C of E Primary School, Victoria Street, Littleborough, although doors for the wedding screening will open at 11:30am.

Entry fee: £1 for adults, children free
